Comment: When raindrops conspired against my roof, I turned to Virginia Roofing and Construction Co. Their ex-military precision pinpointed the leak’s origin. Swiftly, they sealed the breach, leaving my home dry and secure. The veteran discount was a nod to shared service. Trust them—your roof deserves it. I called others and they wanted to do a costly replacement. Ashton and Stever inspected it and said they could repair it for a lot less and I'd probably be good for another 10 years before I needed to have it replaced. This saved me a lot and when it's time to replace it, I'm calling these guys.

Comment: Had them do some river rock and landscape timbers around my rental property. Looks nice, oh and they poured a new sidewalk for me too. I wish they did blacktop work, but Troy told me they do everything but that. It's so hard to find someone, half the people don't speak English nor return phone calls.

Comment: My furnace wasn't working. I called one of the traditional heating places and they looked at it and said it needed a major repair. I called Troy, I've used them in the past and they replaced it for me instead of spending money on endless repairs as the others wanted. No issues and they were able to set me up with an easy payment plan.

Comment: I used another company to install my roof about 3 years ago and now I have storm damage, so I called the manufacturer of the shingles because I had a 30yr. warranty. Finally, I got a representative out to look at the roof and they refused to warranty the roof because the contractor that installed it wasn't certified. I got a hold of these guys and Troy was able to work with the manufacturer and got some of it covered. But I still had to pay them to mostly redo it all. In the long run, learn from me. Ask to see their IL license and verify they'll stand by their work and will be covered. That's just my advice.

Comment: Wanted some things cleaned up and a shed tore down. I'm getting too old to do this stuff. Not a big job, but they came over and took care of it. While they were here, I had a flat tire on my car. Steve took it off and took it to have it patched for me. He didn't even charge me, I just had to reimburse him for what the tire place charged to fix it. So, I bought him and his worker 'Doug' a pizza for lunch. A nice bunch of guys and reasonable. The owner stopped by and scolded me for feeding the help, he said they'd get spoiled and would now want lunch every day. He was joking of course, but he and my cousin hit it off as they talked about their Army days and what the Cubs will be doing this year. Comment: They did a good job, but they didn't start when they said they would. They were 3 weeks late starting on my roof. When I called Troy, he said it was because of bad weather and they were unable to start. I was just told a start date and was never told they couldn't install the roof if it was snowing and raining. Couldn't they just shovel off the snow? I just thought they'd start when they said they would.

Comment: I hired another contractor to do my roof and that contractor messed it up. Troy came out and showed me just how screwed up things were. Unfortunately, they had to tear off everything the other contractor did, and this cost me a lot more than just having Troy do it to begin with. Live and learn, if you need roof work done then don't hire anyone else. Thank god they have payment options.
