Comment: I used another company to install my roof about 3 years ago and now I have storm damage, so I called the manufacturer of the shingles because I had a 30yr. warranty. Finally, I got a representative out to look at the roof and they refused to warranty the roof because the contractor that installed it wasn't certified. I got a hold of these guys and Troy was able to work with the manufacturer and got some of it covered. But I still had to pay them to mostly redo it all. In the long run, learn from me. Ask to see their IL license and verify they'll stand by their work and will be covered. That's just my advice.

Comment: I just bought a house and needed the chimney fixed. I had one guy come out and quoted me $1,200 and Virginia's quoted me $1,800 so I went with ************ (redacted) which was cheaper. He wanted 1/2 down so I paid him $600 and I never saw him again. He wouldn't return my calls and I was screwed. So, I hired Virginia's and I have to admit I was now skeptical, and they wanted 60% down. I paid it and they did the work no problem. Troy gave me a $100 military discount because I was in the service. So, in the end it cost me trying to get it done on the cheap when I should have just hired these guys. Life is full of lessons, so learn from my mistake.

Comment: Don't hire anyone else, these guys are the bomb! They are locally owned and operated by an ex-Air Force and Army guy. I love supporting Vet's they served our Country and I like that. I like they're locally owned and warrant their work. They're not some flyby night 'Chuck in a truck' company. Professional and just what you want, you will not go wrong.

Comment: I had a roof leak and had several guys come out and look at it and they all quoted me replacing it. Ashton and Steve looked at it and said it was repairable. A lot of contractors just want to sell you on a new roof, but these guys patched it and gave me 10yr warranty and it was 75% cheaper than replacing it.

Comment: My furnace went out and it wasn't working so I called around and got ******** (redacted) to come look at it and the repair guy said the main board was bad and it would be $400+ to replace it (plus labor) and it would 3 days before they could get the part. I mentioned it to one of my co-workers and she said to call these guys. She said I know they do construction and thought they had furnace people too and maybe they could fix it. I talked to the owner, and he sent out Troy and Chris and they got it working. The batteries on the thermostat were bad and there was a broken /bad wire. It was less than $5 in parts and a $75 service call. I have no idea why the other guy said the main board had to be replaced, but Troy said that a lot of people just start replacing parts.

Comment: I didn't like these guys because I thought they were a little 'stand offish' and were more interested in trying to sell me a roof replacement. I told them I just wanted it patched. Troy said they don't do patch work and to hire someone else. So, I'm going to spend my money elsewhere, you guys lose. ADMINISTRATOR: We're sorry you didn't like our service but what Troy meant was we don't do work to just take money. In your case, your roof is beyond repair and even though there are contractors out there that will take your money, we're not one of them. We will fix it right, if it's repairable we'll repair it. Unfortunately, in your case it's our opinion it is not repairable and needs to be replaced. Good luck and we wish you well.

Comment: Found these guys on FB and I was looking for someone to install a fence for me. They came in and did a very nice job too. My mother had them fix her chimney and siding. What I really liked about them was that they don't do it on the 'cheap'. They do quality work, and I was amazed how quick they got things done.

Comment: Wanted some things cleaned up and a shed tore down. I'm getting too old to do this stuff. Not a big job, but they came over and took care of it. While they were here, I had a flat tire on my car. Steve took it off and took it to have it patched for me. He didn't even charge me, I just had to reimburse him for what the tire place charged to fix it. So, I bought him and his worker 'Doug' a pizza for lunch. A nice bunch of guys and reasonable. The owner stopped by and scolded me for feeding the help, he said they'd get spoiled and would now want lunch every day. He was joking of course, but he and my cousin hit it off as they talked about their Army days and what the Cubs will be doing this year. Comment: I needed someone to simply mow my lawn, not landscaping, or trimming, you know like the teenage kid down the street use to do. Everyone I called wanted $50+ and they charged me for edging and trimming regardless. A friend recommended these guys, and they simply charged me $35. What a relief, because I'm on a fixed income. I also wanted some weed & feed to put down, they charged me for a bag from Menards and only charged me $10 to apply it. They did a good job and Steve told me they do charge more for lawncare, but they have a simple mowing plan if you just want your grass cut and a little trimming. So, they were exactly what I was looking for.
