Comment: I used these guys but didn't like that they started so damn early on the roof. I told Troy I like to sleep in on Sunday and not to start until 10am. However, his crew showed up at 6am and started working. When Troy showed up, he said the weather called for rain and they needed to get it tore off and covered before it rained. It did start raining at noon, but they could have started at 10am, it wasn't raining then, or they should have come back in a day or two. Anyway, the insurance adjuster was happy with the quality of work, and they paid for it. Next time I hire them, I'll just stay at my mother's house so not to be disturbed.

Comment: I hired another contractor to do my roof and that contractor messed it up. Troy came out and showed me just how screwed up things were. Unfortunately, they had to tear off everything the other contractor did, and this cost me a lot more than just having Troy do it to begin with. Live and learn, if you need roof work done then don't hire anyone else. Thank god they have payment options.

Comment: Used these guys a few times, never had any problems. They're probably one of the best in the area. They're often busy, so sometimes they have to schedule things, but I've never had any problems. If it's an emergency, they'll get right here like when my water heater stopped working.

Comment: I didn't want a bunch of illegals working on my roof and dealing with issues if someone got hurt. There seems to be a lot of contractors out there that are cheap and have a large labor force what I think are probably illegals. That's just my opinion and I base that on none of them speaking English. Call me racist or whatever you want, but I had several roofing company's look at what I needed, and I asked to see their workers comp policy and license numbers. I told them that my father-in-law hired someone to do his roof and he got sued because one of the workers got hurt and the contractor had NO insurance. Most of these guys never got back to me or said I didn't need it etc. When Steve came out, he said no problem and the owner called me and gave me the information. I even went to my homeowner's policy company, ********** (redacted), and they verified it was legit. Maybe some people would not care, but not me.

Comment: They did a great job on my roof and gutters. Their price was reasonable, and I financed part of it with them. My complaint is they were supposed to start on Monday but could not start until Wednesday because of weather. It took a few days after completing the roof to get the gutters done to because of snow. I just wanted the work finished before I went on vacation and had to wait until I was back to check their work. It was fine, I just wasn't happy I wasn't there the whole time.

Comment: I had a fire and my insurance company recommended them. Great job, no issues. Thank goodness I used these guys because I was going to use someone else before my agent told me to call these guys. If I would have used who I was going to use, it wouldn't have been insurable because the other contractor wasn't licensed and bonded. Comment: What I liked was they wouldn't just ******(redacted) rig it like I asked them to. Troy flat out told me that they don't do that type of work. He said there's a lot of guys out there that will take your money, but they're not going to be around or warrant it etc. I was just trying to save money is all. However, as cost keep going up, I'm sure it won't be any cheaper next year. I was surprised by the number of roofs Troy told me he walks away from because they don't do half-a** (redacted) work. I know one in particular they walked away from, and I see they have *** Roofing (redacted) doing it. It just makes you wonder is all. If I'm going to pay someone then I want the best, if you have cancer wouldn't you want the best surgeon? and not someone that is cheap and just takes your money? Get the best and have it done right is all I can say, and these guys did just that. Thanks guys, oh and PS> I'm a Packers Fan and we still got your number there 'Steve dah Bears' fan worker.

Comment: These guys are great. I had several people look at my roof and these guys impressed me the most. I'm so glad I had them do the work. They did an excellent job. Our insurance adjuster said it was the best workmanship he'd seen. I almost went with someone else, when I told my insurance agent it was ******* (redacted), he said good thing I didn't because he's had nothing but problems dealing with them. He also said that ************ (redacted) Insurance has never had problems with Virginia's and they're a preferred vendor.

Comment: I didn't use these guys for my roof, they were a few thousand more than another guy. I should have known; you get what you pay for. My insurance company would NOT pay for the work that was done and suggested I call Troy. He has me now on their schedule and will be using their payment plan to get my roof fixed; hopefully they can get me fixed up before I have any more problems. Anyone wanting work done, be careful there's a lot of shady contractors out there taking your money. Don't do like I did, cheap isn't what you want when someone is doing work for you.
