Comment: I had a roof leak and had several guys come out and look at it and they all quoted me replacing it. Ashton and Steve looked at it and said it was repairable. A lot of contractors just want to sell you on a new roof, but these guys patched it and gave me 10yr warranty and it was 75% cheaper than replacing it.

Comment: Wanted some things cleaned up and a shed tore down. I'm getting too old to do this stuff. Not a big job, but they came over and took care of it. While they were here, I had a flat tire on my car. Steve took it off and took it to have it patched for me. He didn't even charge me, I just had to reimburse him for what the tire place charged to fix it. So, I bought him and his worker 'Doug' a pizza for lunch. A nice bunch of guys and reasonable. The owner stopped by and scolded me for feeding the help, he said they'd get spoiled and would now want lunch every day. He was joking of course, but he and my cousin hit it off as they talked about their Army days and what the Cubs will be doing this year. Comment: What impressed me the most was when these guys came out, they refused to just patch the roof as I wanted. I thought the customer was always supposed to be right? After Troy and Ashton were here, the owner personally came out and talked to me and said that there's lots of contractors that would be more than happy to just take my money, but he's not one of them. I thought about this and decided to call a few references and I was surprised he was right. Nobody complained about their work, and they stood behind what they did. So, I pulled the trigger on these guys and setup payments, I'm glad that I did because it this was the best solution and now, I won't have to worry about replacing/fixing the roof for the rest of my life!

Comment: I heard you guys did roofs but when I had another roofing company ************ (redacted) they were about $3k less than you guys. You're too expensive. ADMINISTRATOR: This could be for several reasons, they could be only giving you a 'Proposal', they could be giving you a cheaper shingle, etc. In other words, you might not be comparing Apples to Apples. There are also a few contractors that deliberately give lower estimates then they charge you more for everything else, such as 70¢ per nail on decking, or decking replacement etc. Whereas with us, we don't do that. Also, we have no problem coming back out and taking a re-look and comparing pricing to see ways to save you money. If another company gives you a legitimate quote, we'll match it or beat it. Remember you get what you pay for, and cheaper construction is NOT what you want done at your home. We'll call you and schedule a revisit and see what can be done. It might be they're installing a cheaper IKO shingle.

Comment: I just had my roof replaced and that windstorm we had blew off shingles. The roof was installed by someone else, and they would NOT warrant the work, so I called Virgina's. Ashton came out and looked at it and said that the other installers only nailed the shingles with 4 nails in each shingle instead of 6; plus, they didn't use ice and water shield or install the flashing properly. I'm pissed because Ashton states it all has to come off and be redone. He showed me pictures and I see what he means. I just wish I would have gone with these guys to begin with.

Comment: These guys were great, I just wish they were cheaper. I called around and got 3 estimates and they were more than one and less than another, so I picked them. **Update** Afterwards, I was glad because the cheaper company did my neighbor's house, and their roof is leaking, and they don't return calls. Thank goodness I went with Virgina's because they are bonded and insured and certified roofers.

Comment: I like I was able to replace my roof and make payments! Two thumbs up. Ashton, their expert technician really impressed me with his knowledge and getting it done properly with Steve. Troy was the bomb when it came with dealing with the City Inspectors and Insurance Adjuster. I just sat back in my lawn chair and drank a beer and watched them work. They worked like a fine turned machine and I'm glad they were doing it and not me. My wife wants them to build a deck off the back of the house for us and pour a concert pad this summer.

Comment: These guys are great. I had several people look at my roof and these guys impressed me the most. I'm so glad I had them do the work. They did an excellent job. Our insurance adjuster said it was the best workmanship he'd seen. I almost went with someone else, when I told my insurance agent it was ******* (redacted), he said good thing I didn't because he's had nothing but problems dealing with them. He also said that ************ (redacted) Insurance has never had problems with Virginia's and they're a preferred vendor.

Comment: They did a great job on my roof and gutters. Their price was reasonable, and I financed part of it with them. My complaint is they were supposed to start on Monday but could not start until Wednesday because of weather. It took a few days after completing the roof to get the gutters done to because of snow. I just wanted the work finished before I went on vacation and had to wait until I was back to check their work. It was fine, I just wasn't happy I wasn't there the whole time.
